With PC Razon When I first saw this device I had another doubt it. I have a lot of short films for myself and for my family and friends, but I need something to burn it in HD quality. An AVCHD DVD is too short, and it has a low capacity to make a DVD-R. I've heard good things about Blu-ray and people are eager to know if the MacBook Pro hardware can support. Luckily I got it on my MacBook Pro .... tried VIOLA! It worked! I used Roxio's Toast Titanium to burn BD-R with my MacBook Pro. On my laptop, was working unit (and I'm running Windows XP Pro!). I can burn files and read them from the device. The disadvantage of burning the files on my netbook, Blu-ray it needs more time to burn them to CD. I never thought it took more than an hour and a half to burn 25 GB BD-R 4x (using the latest software from Nero Burning, I forgot the version number), but still worth it! I would recommend for people who like to make videos on your Mac and the writer needs to make a high-definition video on a Blu-ray. See all 1 customer reviews ....
